Stockholm School of Economics gains deeper insight into candidates to help make more well-informed admissions decisions

Stockholm School of Economics, home to its Executive MBA program and a highly selective admissions process, needed a better way to evaluate experienced applicants beyond traditional application materials. As interest in the program grew, the school wanted deeper insight into candidates’ communication skills, self-awareness, and leadership potential, and it turned to Kira Talent and its asynchronous assessment tool to help identify the right students for interview.

Kira Talent implemented an asynchronous pre-interview assessment that let SSE capture candid video responses from shortlisted applicants and review them before live interviews. This gave the admissions team a more authentic view of each candidate’s experience and personality, helped them ask stronger follow-up questions, and enabled more confident decisions; Kira Talent also allowed the school to share recordings with the academic director for a second opinion.
