A Kira Talent Case Study
OHSU School of Medicine, a highly competitive medical program with nearly 6,500 applications per admissions cycle, needed a better way to run its Multiple Mini Interviews after a stressful virtual cycle on Webex. The school’s MMI is critical for assessing candidates’ clinical knowledge, communication, professionalism, and teamwork, but Webex created confusion, technical issues, and forced OHSU to cut back on important role-play and collaborative stations.
Kira Talent provided its Live Interviewing platform to rebuild OHSU School of Medicine’s virtual MMI in a more flexible, single-link format. With Kira Talent, OHSU restored role-play stations, reduced user error, saved over 5 hours per week—more than 75 hours per admissions cycle—and improved reviewer recruitment, retention, and applicant experience, with users describing the process as more enjoyable and far easier to manage.
