Fundação Getulio Vargas Business School increases applicant diversity with a scalable admissions process

Fundação Getulio Vargas Business School (FGV EAESP) needed a way to make its highly competitive admissions interviews scalable while preserving the insights of interviews and broadening access for applicants outside São Paulo. As the school interviewed around 1,000 students per cycle, it turned to Kira Talent and its Asynchronous Assessment platform to replace a traditionally face-to-face process with a more flexible, online approach.

Using Kira Talent, FGV EAESP ran all applicants through a same-day assessment window, with reviewer and applicant dashboards helping staff track progress, manage timelines, and keep candidates on track. The result was a more efficient and fair admissions process, plus greater reach and diversity: FGV EAESP reported an increase in the percentage of students coming from outside São Paulo, while also strengthening its image as an innovative, forward-thinking business school.
