FAU College of Business reimagines admissions to enroll top business leaders in their executive PhD program

FAU College of Business, part of Florida Atlantic University, needed a better way to evaluate applicants for its selective executive PhD program. Traditional GMAT/GRE testing was a poor fit for experienced senior leaders, often discouraging strong candidates and making it harder to assess the quantitative skills needed for doctoral study. The college turned to Kira Talent and its asynchronous assessment to better match the admissions process to this unique applicant pool.

Kira Talent helped FAU College of Business create a custom, more targeted assessment for working professionals, replacing inefficient interview coordination and reducing the burden on faculty. The result was a more effective and professional admissions experience, with Wharton noting that the two-minute video response revealed more than a half-hour interview. Kira Talent also saved hours previously spent scheduling interviews, allowing the team to reinvest that time elsewhere in recruiting.
