CDU College of Medicine creates an efficient interview process for a growing program

CDU College of Medicine needed to build its own admissions process after becoming a standalone four-year medical school, and it wanted an efficient way to assess a growing number of applicants without demanding too much faculty time. The school had seen Kira Talent’s Live Interviewing during its partnership with UCLA and chose to use it for its Multiple Mini Interview-style admissions process.

Kira Talent helped CDU College of Medicine run streamlined interviews, with two 20-minute interviews per applicant, while also allowing the team to update rubrics, questions, and applicant communications easily. The result was a more flexible and welcoming interview experience, and Kira Talent supported the school as applications grew from 974 in one cycle to more than 3,000 in the next, helping it manage admissions efficiently while maintaining a class size of 60 students.
