A Kira Talent Case Study
Utah Valley PA, part of Utah Valley University’s Physician Assistant program, was managing more than 700 applications per cycle while trying to support a large share of first-generation students and maintain a fair, holistic admissions process. The program needed a way to assess candidates efficiently without overburdening faculty or increasing bias, and turned to Kira Talent for help.
Kira Talent implemented an Asynchronous Assessment as a first-round interview and supported a structured, rubric-based process with multiple reviewers per applicant. As a result, Utah Valley PA cut interview time from six full days of eight-hour sessions to three days of three-hour sessions, reducing faculty interview commitment from 48 hours to 9 hours while improving consistency, reducing subjectivity, and creating a more positive applicant experience.
