Together Co trains 150 volunteers in half the usual time with Kineo

Together Co, a loneliness charity, faced an unprecedented surge in demand for its services during the COVID-19 lockdown. The challenge was to rapidly train over 100 new volunteers on new safety protocols and remote support methods when traditional face-to-face and Zoom training proved too time-consuming and difficult to coordinate. Kineo provided a solution using the StoryTagger video storytelling tool.

Kineo's solution involved creating a digital training program from staff-recorded videos, which was hosted on a learning platform with additional resources and an interactive quiz. This allowed volunteers to train at their own pace. As a result, Kineo helped Together Co train 150 new volunteers in half the usual time, with over a third ready within the first month of lockdown, enabling the charity to meet urgent community needs safely and efficiently.
