The IAFC launches interactive development courses to improve workforce morale

The International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), which represents senior leaders in firefighting and emergency response worldwide, faced rising volunteer turnover that threatened service quality, finances, and public safety. Station administrators lacked targeted business and operational training, which hurt morale and consistency across volunteer and career staff.

Kineo partnered with the IAFC to create the Volunteer Administrative Leadership Series: a maintainable, scalable learning platform using digital storytelling, gamified challenges, and realistic station-based scenarios to build practical administrative skills. The program has improved camaraderie, recruitment and retention, and operational consistency across the IAFC network, and has already trained hundreds of leaders in better running their departments.
