Case Study: Australian Sports Anti‑Doping Authority (ASADA) achieves higher engagement and accessibility with Kineo's multi‑device elearning platform

A Kineo Case Study

Preview of the ASADA Case Study

Multi-device elearning and platform for ASADA's community

Kineo partnered with the Australian Sports Anti‑Doping Authority (ASADA) to modernise its anti‑doping education after high‑profile cases drove a 200% surge in interest and exposed limitations in an ageing LMS and outdated course content. ASADA needed a budget‑friendly, scalable and accessible multi‑device solution that could support growing registrations and government accessibility requirements.

Kineo rebuilt ASADA’s Level 1 Anti‑Doping course on the Adapt Framework and a responsive Totara Learn platform, using athlete‑focused design, location‑based navigation, guided assessments, a progress dashboard with Open Badges and WCAG 2.0 AA compliance. Since launch the site has grown to 28,000 users (8,000 active), issued over 50,000 badges, increased mobile access from 15% to 27%, reduced support workload, achieved high learner satisfaction (92% learned something new, 87% found it relevant), was adopted by the Australian Institute of Sport, and won LearnX Platinum and Gold awards.
