Case Study: MindEd achieves open-access, personalised mental-health training with City & Guilds Kineo's Totara LMS

MindEd - Customer Case Study

MindEd is an open-access learning portal hosted by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health that provides bite-sized e‑learning on young people’s mental health for adults who work with children. The consortium-led project needed a freely available, multi-device platform that removed access barriers while also supporting personalised learning pathways and complex integrations for diverse professional audiences.

City & Guilds Kineo delivered a Totara LMS solution (with content from e‑LfH) using a user-centred design, dynamic audiences, SSO and a custom course format to enable optional registration, personalised learning plans and easy content delivery. Launched in March 2014, the site has around 14,000 registered users, ~100,000 visitors and 1.25 million page views, and continues to be positively received and maintained under enterprise Totara hosting and support.
