A Kineo Case Study
BaptistCare, a not-for-profit aged and community care provider operating 160 facilities across NSW and the ACT with over 3,500 staff and 1,000 volunteers, needed to shift from mostly face-to-face training toward a 70/30 e‑learning vision. After organisation-wide consultations they sought a single, flexible learning platform to serve residential, community and corporate staff, manage multiple learning pathways and compliance requirements, provide reliable real‑time reporting, and enable rapid deployment of critical training.
Kineo’s managed Totara Learn — Kineo edition was implemented as “My Learning,” featuring a custom look, Kineo off‑the‑shelf and bespoke aged care content, and microlearning as part of blended programs. Delivered on time and on budget, the platform consolidated webinars, e‑learning and face‑to‑face programs, enabled a COVID‑19 module launch in days, and gave managers real‑time reporting. The result has been a transformational uplift in learning capability, empowered and upskilled leaders, freed L&D to focus on strategy, and a scalable learning system aligned to BaptistCare’s values.
