easyJet, one of the UK’s largest airlines with thousands of staff across multiple European countries, needed a cost‑effective, on‑brand Learning Management System to build a consistent learning culture. The organisation wanted learning tied to performance and development, to promote the 70/20/10 model, support pilots, cabin crew and corporate teams, and roll out features in phases without heavy customisation.
easyJet selected City & Guilds Kineo and Totara LMS to deliver a fully branded Online Learning Academy that focuses on blended, self‑directed resources (face‑to‑face, videos, pocketbooks, elearning, blogs, quizzes) and simple course/programme creation. Using Totara’s out‑of‑the‑box configurability, HR synchronization and reporting, the project met timeline and budget goals, achieved strong uptake in the management & administration audience (300+ active users, ~one third of that population), received positive user feedback, and is now moving into a second phase to onboard pilots and add extra Totara functionality.
