Coats builds leadership skills for 280 managers with Kineo

Coats PLC, a global manufacturing company, faced the challenge of building internal leadership capabilities to support new strategic goals focused on product innovation. They needed to move their essential training for frontline and middle managers online while replicating the benefits of face-to-face learning. To address this, Coats partnered with vendor Kineo to implement a global leadership development program.

Kineo's solution was an 18-month blended learning program that combined e-learning modules featuring company-specific personas, face-to-face workshops, manager-led coaching sessions, and peer support through an LMS. The result was a highly successful and integrated program; 280 managers began the journey, with an additional 60 participants added within a year. The program, which won a Brandon Hall award, became fully integrated across all of Coats' global business regions.
