Kineo (a City & Guilds Group business) created a new line managers’ learning portal and a suite of focused elearning modules for Marks & Spencer. As part of M&S’s HR transformation they needed reusable, user-focused content that captured leadership endorsements, but faced constraints: subject matter experts had only an hour each, there was no existing LMS, and cost and rapid delivery were critical.
Kineo worked on-site with a small team to produce a flexible four-quadrant learning design and a branded, customised Moodle “Line Manager Performance Centre” with self-registration, tracking and a magazine-style home page. The result was a cost-effective, extendable solution praised by learners and stakeholders, enabled blended and global access, reduced travel costs, and established a template for further elearning collaboration with M&S.
