Canon needed to prepare more than 500 staff from across Europe for DRUPA, the world’s largest media and print event, and asked Kineo to deliver a short, engaging, on-brand elearning module (with a German version a week later) in under three weeks. The brief required assessment, tracking and quick deployment to ensure staff understood Canon’s objectives, key messages, the exhibition stand and how to handle customers.
Kineo used a fast-track, collaborative process and a small dedicated team to build a custom interactive module and branded Moodle site (with resources and a discussion forum), delivering English and German versions on schedule. More than 400 people completed the course before the event, over 90% passed the assessment first time (around an 80% completion rate), there were fewer than 20 user queries, and Canon reported that the initiative helped them meet and exceed their DRUPA targets.
