Camden Council boosts remote learning with Kineo, reaching 53% employee demand for hybrid work

Camden Council, a diverse local government organization, faced the challenge of delivering effective learning and development to two distinct audiences: its managers, who needed development without time-consuming traditional programs, and young people on the government's Kickstart scheme, who required accessible onboarding into a remote work environment. To meet these needs, they partnered with the vendor Kineo and utilized the Mindtools Content Hub.

Kineo's solution involved creating blended learning pathways using the Mindtools Content Hub. For managers, this meant a self-directed, socially-focused development program, while Kickstarters received on-demand resource packs. The results were highly positive; managers reported feeling less isolated and more empowered, with many cohorts continuing to meet after the program ended. For the Kickstart scheme, Kineo's approach provided flexible, inclusive learning that strengthened the council's overall L&D culture and successfully supported young people transitioning to virtual work.
