Sportsmen’s doubles year-end appeal with Kindsight’s iwave

Sportsmen’s Tennis & Enrichment Center is a Massachusetts nonprofit tennis club that provides free tennis, academics, and life skills programming to underserved families. With a small fundraising team and a growing need to diversify beyond its annual gala, the organization struggled to identify which donors had both the affinity and capacity to support a new year-end campaign. It partnered with Kindsight and used its iwave fundraising intelligence solution to make prospect research more targeted and efficient.

Kindsight helped Sportsmen’s screen its database, identify high-capacity prospects, and narrow outreach from more than 2,500 constituents to 700 strong candidates for a more personalized year-end appeal. The result was a jump from $88,000 to $175,000 in year-end donations, a 99% increase in one year, while reducing time and effort spent on outreach. Since then, Sportsmen’s has continued using Kindsight for other campaigns to segment donors and improve targeting.
