Victoria and Albert Museum launches searchable digital archives for 50 years of Glastonbury history with Kind

The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) required a partner to create accessible digital archives for its important cultural research projects. The V&A partnered with Kind to build these archives, which involved handling complex and large-scale data to make historical records available to both academic researchers and the general public.

Kind implemented the solution by building several searchable online archives, utilizing the Algolia search platform to ensure fast and stable performance. The results were highly impactful, creating a publicly accessible archive for 50 years of Glastonbury Festival history, documenting over 3,000 performances, and launching a portal that tracks $800 million in global heritage funding. Kind successfully delivered these digital resources, significantly expanding global access to the V&A's cultural collections.
