The customer, Acompli, an email application for Android and iOS, needed to validate its product idea and grow its user base prior to a full app store launch. They used KickoffLabs to create a launch page and manage their pre-registration list.
KickoffLabs provided a solution that included a custom landing page connected via its API, viral referral features to incentivize sharing, and tools to track signup sources. This approach generated tens of thousands of pre-launch signups, directly contributing to the company's explosive growth and its subsequent $200 million acquisition by Microsoft.
