Staples used geo-fencing live in email to promote an offer that was only available in some stores

Staples used Kickdynamic to improve the relevance of a money-off email promotion across a large store network. The challenge was to show the right offer to shoppers near a participating location without confusing them when many Staples stores were close together.

Kickdynamic used geo-fencing so only email openers within 15km of a participating store saw the offer content, and the store details were included in the offer image. According to Staples, this ensured a better email experience and clearer store guidance for recipients, with different offers shown such as $10 off and $15 off when spending $50 or more in-store.
