EGO, a leading fashion and footwear retailer, was struggling with poor email data quality that led to high bounce rates, low engagement, and deliverability problems. To address these issues, EGO turned to Kickbox and its email verification solutions to help clean up their database and improve email capture.
Kickbox used email list verification to remove invalid addresses from EGO’s core database and integrated its Real-Time Email Verification API on the website to validate addresses at the point of capture. As a result, EGO saw delivery rates rise from 96% to 99%, click-through rate improve from 0.4% to 0.6%, and inbox placement jump from 20% to 97%, while 8% of entered emails were identified as bad and blocked and bounce rates fell by 60%.
