HOPE High School saves time and makes it easy to analyze and act on student behavior data with Kickboard

Hope Christian High School in Milwaukee, a college-preparatory 9–12 school of about 294 students, struggled with disparate systems for tracking student behavior—teachers used online gradebooks, Google Docs and paper—resulting in inconsistent, time-consuming data collection. To address this, the school adopted Kickboard’s school culture system (a configurable web-based platform plus professional development) in fall 2016.

With Kickboard, teachers quickly record behaviors with a tap and award “Hawk Points” or demerits, while advisory teachers and administrators generate daily, weekly and quarterly reports and track attendance and tardies. Kickboard consolidated all behavior data into individual, class and school reports, saving hours on data collection, increasing school‑wide use of data, improving decision‑making and parent engagement, and helping teachers better manage classrooms.
