Central Elementary School, a Title I PreK–5 campus in Dallas ISD serving 478 students (86% economically disadvantaged, 26% limited English proficient), faced a school culture that emphasized negative behavior tracking, high tardiness, attendance problems, and lost instructional time. To change that dynamic, the school adopted Kickboard’s instructional management solution to support a schoolwide PBIS approach focused on rewarding positive behavior.

Using Kickboard, Central implemented a paycheck-style PBIS (Kickboard dollars), weekly leaderboards and a data wall, and integrated CHAMPS expectations so teachers could easily reward positive behaviors.
