Telefunken Elektroakustik, built on Toni Fishman’s passion for classic German microphones, had grown a devoted global customer base and dealer network but needed a better way to convert website research into sales and help distributors stock and ship products locally. With rising online product discovery and a booming roster of artists using their gear, Telefunken’s challenge was to give dealers a simple, cost-effective way to sell directly from the manufacturer’s site.
They implemented Kibo’s (Shopatron) cloud-based eCommerce platform, which integrates with legacy systems via lightweight APIs and can be deployed in months rather than a year. The solution enables customers to order online and have products delivered from local vendors, improving the shopping experience, rewarding distributors, lowering launch costs, and allowing Telefunken to roll out a full store quickly (planned for June).
