The audiovisual department at MIT was struggling to manage the delivery of equipment and technicians for over 100 events per day using a legacy FileMaker-based system. The department needed more automation to handle its growing demands and to replace its manual process of scheduling on a large physical wall grid. They partnered with KiBiz Systems to implement the KiBiz Equipment Rental System.

KiBiz Systems implemented its rental system to automate event management, dispatching, and billing. The solution included an electronic job board for real-time scheduling visibility and a custom mobile app called "Find My Job" for technicians. As a result, the department gained significant efficiencies through automated billing statements and integrated inventory management for both rental and permanent classroom equipment.
