KiBiz Dramatically Saves Time and Money for California Music Distributor

Revolver USA, a San Francisco–based music distributor handling 500–2,000 line items daily across CDs, vinyl, downloads and multiple sales channels (including Amazon and iTunes), faced complex, manual transactions, pricing tiers, royalty reporting and inventory challenges that grew with the business. In 2001 director Darren Mock selected KiBiz Systems and its FileMaker Pro–based KiBiz System to provide an integrated business management solution.

KiBiz Systems customized and deployed the KiBiz System with sales-entry screens, automation scripts, royalty tracking, EDI links for Amazon and other large retailers, and email-parsing for smaller orders, giving 30 users real-time access to a single database. The impact was dramatic: processes that once took ten people all day now take one person half a day, enabling sustained growth, faster fulfillment and tighter inventory and accounting control.
