Important information and notifications do not have to be communicated by human beings only

Johns Manville, an international glass fiber producer, faced a challenge with internal communication. Its Slovak factory, which employs over 900 production operatives, found that traditional notice boards were insufficient, leading to a lack of employee engagement. To address this, they turned to vendor Ki-Wi Digital to find a solution for sharing important information electronically in the tough conditions of a production hall.

The solution was the implementation of 12 Ki-Wi interactive information kiosks. These durable kiosks were integrated with the company's systems to provide employees with immediate, personalized access to operational data, HR updates, and management notifications. The measurable impact was significant; over several years, the Ki-Wi solution eliminated the need for a dedicated job role and saved substantial costs previously spent on printing and distributing materials, while greatly improving information accessibility.
