The Ministry of Justice uses Matrix Booking to support its Commuter Hubs

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) needed a simple, centrally managed way to support its new Commuter Hubs and wider flexible working programme across a dispersed estate of over 60,000 staff. Keytree partnered with the MoJ to implement the Matrix Booking system as a single platform for booking desks and flexible workspaces that integrates with Microsoft Exchange and existing corporate systems.

Keytree’s Matrix Booking solution delivered a centralised, easy-to-use booking service that reduced pressure on the accommodation team and improved the employee experience by enabling staff to work closer to home, cut travel time and costs, and increase productivity. The project supported measurable benefits cited by the department and staff — for example commuters reported reclaiming nearly two hours a day, and wider flexible-working gains include up to 25% more productivity, 29% reduction in perceived stress, 28% higher retention likelihood and 54% improved work/life balance.
