Motors (motors.co.uk) was preparing a major TV advertising campaign and needed to know whether its website could handle the spike in traffic and which user journeys to test. Motors engaged Keysight, using its Eggplant load‑testing and Performance Analyzer services, to plan realistic scenarios and validate site capacity ahead of the campaign.
Keysight delivered a managed test program that simulated predefined concurrent‑user scenarios across three key journeys (homepage, SEO landing page, news page), used supplied datasets for realistic searches/postcodes, and crawled the entire site with Eggplant Performance Analyzer to pinpoint slow pages, render times and optimization opportunities. The testing confirmed the site coped with campaign peaks, uncovered fixable errors, and enabled Motors to implement front‑end changes that improved performance, reduced bandwidth usage and costs, and maximized revenue and customer experience during the campaign.
