PSG College of Technology Better Prepares Next-Generation Engineers for Employment Through Collaboration with Keysight Technologies

PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore faced a persistent gap between engineering degrees and employability due to an outdated curriculum, limited practical exposure, and insufficient industry‑grade facilities. To address this, PSG College of Technology partnered with Keysight to modernize hands‑on learning by creating Centers of Excellence (CoE) and deploying Keysight’s test‑and‑measurement instruments and software.

Keysight helped PSG build CoE labs for baseband, embedded and advanced wireless communications equipped with Keysight mixed‑signal oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, power supplies, function generators and measurement software (including LXI‑enabled remote access). The 1:2 test‑bench‑to‑student setup and industry‑grade tools boosted practical skills, fostered cross‑department collaboration and research, increased industry engagement, and produced more internships, paper presentations and job placements — prompting PSG to expand the partnership with Keysight via a co‑funded advanced wireless lab.
