Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH), one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the UK and operator of the Cerner Millennium EPR since 2011, faced labour‑intensive manual testing and data setup for training domains under tight public funding and resource constraints. To reduce manual effort and increase test reliability on their Citrix-based systems, OUH evaluated automation options and selected Keysight’s Eggplant test automation product.

Keysight implemented Eggplant’s image‑recognition automation to run regression tests and automate tasks such as populating training domains, appointment scheduling, and recording patient observations.
