North American Electric Utility Optimizes Network Visibility with Keysight

Large North American Electric Utility was struggling with an unstable, unreliable legacy network visibility architecture that created severe visibility gaps and caused security tools to flap or miss data. After a proof-of-concept in 2021, the utility adopted a Keysight solution—deploying Vision X and E10S network packet brokers and T1000 packet aggregators across three data centers—to restore consistent, provable data delivery.

Keysight’s deployment now handles traffic from more than 100 mirrored ports, immediately improving cybersecurity operations by reliably passing data to analysis and packet-capture tools, reducing noise and storage through data deduplication, and enabling application-layer filtering to protect overloaded tools.
