Nexus Achieves Automation Excellence with Eggplant

NEXUS / E&L GmbH, the German market leader in medical document management best known for its Clinic WinData (CWD) software used in over 500 clinics, faced slow releases and risk to patient safety because manual testing couldn’t deliver the accuracy and speed required for medical-device compliance. To address this, the QA team selected Eggplant — the test automation platform from Keysight — to automate regression testing and improve overall testing reliability and user experience.

Keysight’s Eggplant was rolled out by Bennett Nana Botchway, who built around 200 scripts and leveraged Eggplant’s SenseTalk language, AI-generated test cases, and OCR to automate checks that previously required manual effort. The result: 20% of regression testing automated for CWD (65% in Quality Control), consistent bug detection, and a reduction in test run time from three days to one for 20 test cases, freeing the QA team for more exploratory testing; Keysight’s Eggplant is now being integrated further into NEXUS / E&L’s Azure DevOps pipeline.
