Large European Financial Institution Deploys Vision Packet Brokers

Large European Financial Institution needed enhanced end-to-end visibility and security across its global, multi–data-center network after an overloaded security tool generated false positives and left gaps in monitoring and compliance. Keysight was engaged to provide a scalable, easy-to-use visibility solution using its Vision Series network packet brokers (Vision X, Vision Edge 100), Flex Tap fiber taps, PacketStack processing, and the Ixia Fabric Controller centralized manager.

Keysight deployed a visibility fabric—Flex Taps for lossless capture, Vision Edge 100 rack-level aggregation feeding centralized Vision X NPBs with PacketStack deduplication and IFC single-pane management—supporting capture speeds from 1 Gb to 10 Gb and PacketStack processing up to 2 Tbps. The deployment delivered consolidated, centrally filtered traffic feeds (SSL decryption, data masking, deduplication), reduced false positives and tool/bandwidth utilization, improved error detection and data-processing throughput, met regulatory requirements, and simplified operations (configuration changes in a few clicks) without widespread hardware upgrades.
