How Juniper Networks partnered with Keysight to build network infrastructure for AI networks

Juniper Networks faced the challenge of building and validating a high-performance network infrastructure capable of meeting the extreme demands of next-generation AI data centers. To ensure their solution could handle real-world AI workloads, they partnered with vendor Keysight and utilized its network emulation tools, including the Keysight AI (KAI) Data Center Builder.

Keysight's solution enabled Juniper to emulate large-scale AI data center environments, including the behavior of AI-native protocols like RoCEv2, at speeds up to 800GE. This allowed Juniper to thoroughly test and validate their AI fabric's performance, fine-tune features like congestion management, and measure key metrics. As a result, Juniper Networks was able to deliver a high-capacity, easy-to-operate network solution that maximizes GPU utilization and delivers the fastest job completion times for AI training and inference.
