Financial Services Company, one of the largest personal-lines insurers in the U.S. (with operations in Canada), faced an urgent need to strengthen network visibility and close security blind spots after a major security event in 2014. To support several newly deployed security tools and improve overall security posture, the firm engaged Keysight and deployed visibility and packet-broker solutions including Keysight NTO 7300 systems, ATIP processors, carrier and interface modules, AFM, vTAP (Phantom 1), Indigo Pro Manager Virtual and Gold Maintenance Support.

Keysight’s deployment provided consolidated packet visibility and zero-loss processing, feeding critical security telemetry to analytics, firewalls and other tools and enabling the company to more effectively protect infrastructure. In an apples-to-apples proof-of-concept, Keysight outperformed a competitor—processing 100% of offered 40Gbps traffic across all frame sizes versus the competitor’s as-low-as 27.4% for 64-byte frames (72.6% frame loss)—and delivered a single-pane-of-glass management that improved IT productivity and accelerated routine administration.
