Leading Financial Institution, a retail and corporate bank based in India, needed to improve inline security visibility while cutting rising tool and maintenance costs. They engaged Keysight for a visibility and inline security solution, deploying Keysight’s iBypass 40 switch and Vision One network packet broker (NPB) to enable serial analysis of suspect traffic and ensure high availability for inline tools.

Keysight implemented bypass switches for instant failover and a Vision One NPB to aggregate, load‑balance and selectively forward traffic for service chaining, allowing deeper inspection across tools. With two iBypass units and two active‑active NPBs in an n+1 design, the bank reduced inline IPS and other appliance counts, cut deployment costs by almost half, and achieved $680,000 in savings (Keysight’s solution cost ~$120K) while delivering high availability and improved tool efficiency.
