Analog Devices needed to optimize capital investments to meet a 20% CapEx reduction goal and required real-time utilization data to identify underused test assets. To get those utilization facts, Analog Devices deployed Keysight’s PathWave Asset Advisor software.

Using Keysight’s PathWave Asset Advisor across three labs to monitor up to 25 high-value instruments, ADI identified in 45 days a microwave network analyzer averaging just 1% utilization. Keysight provided a trade-in credit of over $200K toward the purchase of a new ~ $500K network analyzer, enabling approval of the optimized acquisition; ADI also moved to create a shared instrument loan pool to further improve utilization and future CapEx efficiency.
