A Keysight Case Study
Allegro MicroSystems, a leading fabless designer of sensor and application-specific analog power ICs, faced rising design complexity and fragmented IP practices that slowed development and complicated ISO 26262 compliance. Engineers struggled with siloed IP catalogs, manual publishing and discovery, inconsistent reuse, and limited traceability. To address this, Allegro adopted Keysight IP Management (HUB) alongside Keysight Design Data Management (SOS).
Keysight centralized Allegro’s IP catalog, automated IP publishing and consumption workflows, and provided traceable, ISO 26262‑friendly reporting across business units. As a result, Keysight’s solution helped Allegro track over 200 IPs across 150 projects, drove about 55% of IPs to be derived from proven templates, and reduced design time by an estimated 45–50% over the last five years while improving reuse quality and compliance.
