Case Study: Skullcandy achieves faster photoreal visuals and interactive assets with KeyShot

A KeyShot Case Study

Skullcandy - Customer Case Study

Skullcandy is a lifestyle-focused headphone maker that must communicate not just sound quality but the look, feel and technology of its products — quickly. With short product timelines and a workflow built on SolidWorks and Rhino, the team needed fast, photoreal visuals and interactive assets to support packaging, marketing, trade shows and web experiences while keeping development agile and on schedule.

Skullcandy adopted KeyShot to produce photoreal renders and KeyShotVR assets in-house, using LiveLinking and Model Sets to speed iterations and cut outsourced rendering time and cost. The toolstreamlined workflows and shortened turnaround (vs. the previous 2–3 day process), enabled interactive product pages and trade-show content (notably for the Crusher launch), and delivered higher-quality, more engaging assets that supported faster time-to-market and stronger consumer presentation.
