A KeyShot Case Study
James Hardie Building Products, a leader in fiber cement siding and backerboard, needed a better way to communicate product color options, installation details, and trade show concepts while improving its product design process. Working with KeyShot and SOLIDWORKS, the company wanted highly accurate visuals that could support everything from prototypes to product literature without relying heavily on physical models.
KeyShot helped James Hardie turn SOLIDWORKS assemblies into realistic renderings by adjusting lighting, materials, cameras, and colors, with LiveLinking making revisions easier. As a result, James Hardie saved time and money by reducing the need for prototypes, reusing the same scenes across manuals and illustrations, and creating visuals internally more efficiently.
