A KeyShot Case Study
Hagie Manufacturing, a family-owned pioneer in agricultural sprayers based in Clarion, IA, needed a faster, clearer way to communicate design concepts as its new industrial design team integrated into the product development cycle. The challenge was convincing non-design stakeholders and senior management to approve bold projects—without building expensive physical prototypes—and to present multiple visual themes early in the process.
Hagie adopted KeyShot (working from SolidWorks models) as the primary visualization tool and invested in on-site training, using renderings from concept through development. The realistic images won approval for the Black Widow show machine, eliminated many physical mockups, saved significant time and cost, and enabled the team to explore and integrate more design options into production.
