Fellowes - Customer Case Study

Fellowes is a global maker of workspace solutions with a broad portfolio—from mobile accessories to commercial machines—so the design team must deliver high-quality, emotionally engaging visuals across very different products. The company faced a particular challenge when asked to develop a flagship mobile photography product with ZEISS: convey the subtle optical quality and premium finish within a very tight timeline while coordinating cross-functional teams and design approval.

Fellowes integrated SolidWorks modeling with KeyShot photoreal renderings, using fast 3D development and lifelike visuals to replace lengthy sketch phases and to present convincing concepts (one concept image was produced in under a day). The approach secured ZEISS approval, accelerated decision-making, reduced prototyping costs and lead time, and produced commercial-grade assets (packaging, web, marketing) ahead of physical samples—enabling the ExoLens with Optics by ZEISS program to move quickly toward market.
