LUISS Guido Carli University needed to move summer exams online during COVID-19 lockdowns and partnered with Keyless (and Cisco) to secure remote student access. Keyless provided a privacy-preserving, passwordless biometric multi-factor authentication solution to verify student identity and enable attendance recording for virtual exams.
Keyless integrated its authentication service with existing systems (including MS ADFS and Cisco) and went live in 10 days with two deployment days, delivering quick, zero-maintenance roll-out. The solution supported 10K+ students, 2.2K+ virtual exams and 1.5K+ authentications per day, reduced password resets and IT costs, preserved PII by not storing sensitive data, and improved the overall login experience.
