Loyalis, a specialist in the Dutch disability insurance market, faced a significant challenge in scaling its participant administration for a collective disability insurance scheme. As part of the a.s.r. group, Loyalis needed a solution to handle a massive increase in processing, expecting an additional 1 million UPA messages per month with peaks potentially reaching 10 million. To build a scalable and future-proof platform, they partnered with the vendor Keylane.

Keylane implemented a participant administration solution using its Lifetime pension platform and Benefits Plaza product, introducing a payroll integration via UPA. The project involved redesigning workflows and optimizing data flows, which resulted in processing speeds becoming up to 20 times faster. This allowed Loyalis to reliably handle the high volume of messages, supporting its growth and strengthening its market position.
