El Corte Ingles boosts revenue with first party data activation

El Corte Inglés, Europe's largest department store group, needed improved customer targeting and the ability to unify and segment its vast first-party data from both online and offline sources. Their previous solutions from Google and Meta were not flexible or future-proof enough for their goals, leading them to seek a new Customer Data Platform (CDP) from the vendor Kevel.

Kevel implemented its Audience product, which provided a machine-learning predictive model to identify users' likelihood to buy. This solution allowed El Corte Inglés to create highly specific audience segments and run more effective campaigns across multiple ad platforms. As a result, the retailer tripled its conversion rate and was able to reallocate energy toward new customer acquisition and retention.
