A KesselsKramer Case Study
The customer, Women Inc, faced the challenge of raising awareness about menorrhagia, a condition affecting one in five women who suffer from heavy menstrual blood loss. Due to the societal taboo surrounding menstruation, there was a significant lack of general knowledge about what constitutes a normal flow. Women Inc partnered with the vendor KesselsKramer to develop a campaign that would inform women, encourage them to question their own status quo, and provide them with tools for action.
KesselsKramer developed a campaign centered on powerful, unadorned personal stories from women with menorrhagia. The solution involved selecting four authentic anecdotes from nearly 100 submissions and presenting them through striking portraits and animations. The campaign encouraged its audience to rethink their own menstruation with the line "Do you know when ‘a lot’ is too much?". This approach by KesselsKramer successfully gave a voice to personal experiences to break the cycle of silence around the issue.
