APAC-Central, Inc., an Oldcastle Company, is an industry leader in aggregate, asphalt, sand, stone, ready-mix concrete, and pavement construction services. The company needed faster, safer, and more accurate ways to support mine planning and inventory management across 30 sites, including quarterly progress updates, reserve verification, and stockpile measurements. APAC-Central turned to Kespry and its drone-based mapping and data collection solution to replace slower, more labor-intensive field methods.

With Kespry, APAC-Central used drone flights, 3D models, and survey-grade imagery in the Kespry Cloud to streamline mine planning and inventory reporting. The results included 520 flights in two years, 612 stockpiles measured, and 17.8K acres of imagery captured, while reducing 30 hours of work to 30 minutes in some cases and eliminating the need for multiple people to climb stockpiles. Kespry also helped APAC-Central improve safety, speed up same-day data availability, and cut the cost and time of reserve analysis from a two-week, $10,000 process to about one hour onsite plus a few hours in the office.
