PPL boosts distributable revenue to £161.2m with Kerve

PPL, a music licensing organization, needed to visually communicate a year of record-breaking revenue growth in their Annual Review. Their previous reports were criticized for being too corporate and lacked the creative spirit of their members. They engaged the vendor Kerve to design a solution that would celebrate their success and resonate with a music industry audience.

Kerve designed an Annual Review inspired by vinyl record sleeves and their circular grooves, making the report tactilely appealing and creatively focused on music. This approach transformed the document from a legal necessity into a reinforcement of PPL's passion for the industry. The solution successfully showcased the key statistic of £161.2m in distributable revenue, which was up 6% from the previous year.
