Häagen-Dazs launches automated ice cream delivery in London with Kerve

The ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs, via its agency Space, wanted to launch a new automated delivery service to get its products directly to customers at events and festivals. They partnered with the digital production studio Kerve to create a solution for this on-demand delivery challenge.

Kerve built a Facebook Messenger chatbot with integrated GPS and web-based geolocation APIs. This solution allowed customers to place an order and be found by a deliverer, even in a crowded field, by having them wave or jump to identify themselves. The vendor, Kerve, successfully implemented the "Häagen-Dazs NOW" service, which trialed in London and was set for a full launch the following summer.
